Gerry Tinley A true Irishman, Gerry was born in Dublin, Ireland. Here in the US he started his soccer career plating at Brother Rice H.S., upon graduation continued playing soccer at Eastern Illinois University. In the 1980's he played for the Liths Soccer Club (and now he is back home). On a professional level he tried out for the Shamrock Rovers in the League of Ireland and also tried out for the Portland Timbers in the North American Soccer League (NASL). Currently he is an assistant soccer coach at Brother Rice H.S. |
